Sparwood TB&GC Hotel Traditional Cache

Port Eagleeye: I am passing through Starwood today, from Vancouver Island, I checked in on the cache. The container was in need of repair and so was the contents. My friend who was looking after the cache has moved so I am choosing to archive this after 12 years. Time to open up the spot for someone else.

Geocache Description:

This is a regular size Lock & Lock with some trades in it. Suggested parking is N 49 43.652 W 114 53.147

I was on holidays here in Sparwood and did some caching with my family. While caching around here I noticed that there was no trackable hotel so I am placing one. This cache was placed on a local trail that is very nice during the summer months and not to bad at all even in the snow. From the cache location you can get a fairly good view of the down town. I am starting the cache with 2 TB's in it please keep them moving and be sure to log the trackables correctly. My GPS settled down to about 12 feet after 500 averages however what can you expect on a snowy day in the bush. If you can get better coordinates, feel free to take and I will post the new coordinates and I will update the cache.
