Geocache Description:

My first multicache hide!

Situated on a forgotten piece of State Game lands #109, this cache attempts to bring you on an adventure of trails, no trails, swamps, forests, fields, ponds and all the fun of a state game land all packed in to 58 acres..
I wanted to put a many-stage multi out here, but for as much work as it is to get out here, for one smiley, well, that didnt seem fair. So, I split it up.

That being said, I highly recommend grabbing the other cache out here, "Knock on Wood" ( (visit link) ) as this multi will bring you to roughly the same area.

How to get to the first stage:
You will have to park in the designated parking area ( N41° 58.889 W 79° 59.672) down the road on SR 97. The entrance to this particular flag lot of gamelands is located at N 41° 59.007 W 79° 59.758. There, you will see a wooden footbridge across the ditch right next to the boundary marker of the Gameland. PLEASE be careful walking along 97, as you should anytime you walk along any other road. Be mindful of the vehicles, and if you are in a group, I suggest walking in a single file line, like kindergarten. The shoulder of the road is wide enough for pedestrian traffic, but still, be careful. (there was talk of it becoming a bike lane at one point).

***NOTE*** there is seemingly a parking area to the north, but it is a gas well road with a sign "No Motorized Vehicles". Do not park here

Once you get into the Gamelands property, be sure to stay within the bounds of the gamelands. Recently, the PA Game Commission went through and marked the bounds of their land with white paint spots on tress along the boundary. As long as you stay between the trees with the white spots, you will be ok.

The majority of the neighbors have barky dogs. They are all either caged, tied up, or real obedient, so its ok to ignore them.

How to get to the final stage:
Well, that defeats the purpose, now, doesn't it?

Here's a tip, though:
There is a trail at N 41° 58.995 W 79° 59.884 that should take you in the direction you need to go. Follow to the left. Its a nice rolling grass trail. The total hike will be under a mile, but the terrain is anything but flat.

Oh, and the last time I was out there I saw some evil cache woodland yoced elves. They're watching you from behind the trees, snickering. OR ARE THEY? ;)

**THIS IS NOT A PARK AND GRAB***

Please allow yourself some time to retrieve this cache (more if you get the mystery cache, too).
