Geocache Description:

The cache is not at the posted coordinates

This is the fourth in a series of origami caches.

Origami is the traditional Japanese art of paper folding, which started around the 17th century. It has since then evolved into a modern art form. The goal of this art is to transform a flat sheet of material into a finished sculpture through folding and sculpting techniques, and as such the use of cuts or glue are not considered to be origami. The number of basic origami folds is small, but they can be combined in a variety of ways to make intricate designs.

The earliest reference to origami in Japan appeared in Ihara Saikaku’s 1680 poem when he wrote “The butterflies in Rosei’s dream would be origami”. Origami butterflies were used to symbolize the bride and the groom. The butterflies were called "Mecho" and "Ocho". Mecho (female) and Ocho (male) are two paper butterflies that adorn sake wine bottles during Japanese wedding ceremonies.

Print out the picture below (enlarge it if necessary) then cut along the lines to make it square. Find the right diagram and you'll get the coordinates - if you fold it right.
