MainePublisher: All geocache placements must have a responsive owner. The cache owner must be able to respond to issues that come up and to submit an "owner maintenance" log to remove the "needs maintenance" icon.

In this case, Groundspeak has sent an email to the cache owner with no response. The cache owner did not respond to any of the cachers hoping to find the cache and did not respond to the reviewer note so the cache is now archived.

The cache location is now open for any Geocacher to place a new cache, including the original cache owner.

Geocache Description:

A container of mixed nuts in a pretty, roadside, location. Beware of the squirrels.

Then came Still Nuts

Welcome to the "Mixed Nuts" geocache. I pass this spot almost every day, it's so pretty, I just had to drop a cache here. Really, there are caches not too far away, but this one gives you a different (and easier to get to) vantage point.

Sadly, when I finally got around to stopping here, all I had with me for a cache was a container of mixed nuts. I hid it, hopefully the squirrels don't get into it.

Physical logs not on the original logbook will be result in deleted online logs! Oh, this cache is a MAGNETIC hide. Please do not pull the container apart, you'll dislodge the magnets....and as always, PLEASE put this back as you found it so that the next cacher can have the same great experience that you had!!! THANK YOU!!!!
