Geocache Description:

Terrier Tribute #4 Cairn
Marylhurst Heights Park

One in a series celebrating the irrepressible terrier group. Matching them with West Linn’s wonderful parks is a natural fit.

Perhaps the oldest breed of terrier, Cairns were originally bred in Scotland to hunt rodents in rock piles, or cairns. A tough little dog with lots of energy, the most famous Cairn, named Terry, portrayed Toto in the Wizard of Oz.

Eight acre Marylhurst Heights Park is brand new, sporting grass fields and a cool playground. It also has West Linn's first labyrinth. You might use this contemplative spot to ponder the location of this cache. Bring your own pen and an extraction tool. This can be a busy park, so please use great stealth and watch for muggles so this one lasts.

***Two wags of the terrier tail and a big congrats to two finders keepers and mishka1 for the shared FTF!***
