Geocache Description:

Here is a round trip of Heaton Park, takes about 1 1/2 hours in total. I have given a good description for all the caches as it is aimed predominately at families and children in particular. Sainsbury entrance. Walk past the driving ranges and take the left fork in the road towards the Pitch and Put hut. Look behind the metal fencing struts. Before the small road barrier, about 1/2 way up this road. Cache is on your left. Rock and stickouflage.

Bring bread for the ducks, carrots for the horses and donkeys and nuts for the squirrels you meet along the way.......Here is a round trip walk of the lovely Heaton Park and beyond, which is the biggest (and the loveliest) Municipal park in Europe. There are lots of interesting and beautiful places throughout the park to visit and I hope, if you do the whole round walk, to show you some of the most interesting places. You could bring bread to feed the ducks near Bunglie's 1, there's a snack van to buy food and drinks. Let me know how you get on. Some of these are inside the park walls and several outside since I have now Extended the Bunglie range of caches all within easy walking distance.
