The series consists of 9 caches which make a pleasant walk of approx. 3 miles.

The woods are a delight for the senses. The sweet smell of bluebells, the whiff of wild garlic, the occasional scent of foxes, the sound of bird song, the babbling brook, the scurrying squirrels etc. etc. (sorry to wax lyrical but woodland walks are my favourite). If you are very lucky you may see roe deer; they don’t live in the woods put pass through at certain times of the year.
The woods are lovely anytime of year but particularly in April when the bluebells are in bloom.

Whilst walking through the woods you will pass very close to HxRoamer’s EWW06Woodfall. If you haven’t already found it it would be a shame to pass it by.

Continue through the woods until just before the gate into Brow Lane. Turn down the winding path on your left and you’re on your way to SWW#9.
