Geocache Description:

A small camo'ed Lock & Lock.

In the 60's and 70's General Electric operated a clean, safe power transformer testing facility just down stream of here. But long, long before that, in the days when the government's environment policy was "the solution to pollution is dilution", the Edison Electric Co was already operating upstream of this spot.

This area was known for weird smells, strangely deformed plants and stagnant water that didn't freeze. That was when the first reports of the Lithium Beaver started. Tall tails of two foot oak trees chewed right through and no log in sight, teeth marks three feet off the ground and strange wood pecker like holes bored deep in to trees big enough that a man could fit his hand it to it. Some blamed it on illegal logging, some on pranksters, but most talked of the Lithium Beaver.

Congratulations to DJ and CAL on the FTF.
