Geocache Description:

We have hidden a cache at Frostrow Chapel because it is where both girls were christened in 2004 and 2007.
The last person to be christened here before them was their Dad in 1972.
It was also the place their Nana worshipped at.
This is a drive by cache which can be linked to others up Garsdale and round Sedbergh.

Frostrow Chapel was built in 1886 by W Morphet at a cost of £570 and the Clerk of Works was William Henry Wilson of Whitbeck who also gave £214 to clear the debt of the building.

You will notice that the Chapel also has a bell which is unusual for a Methodist Chapel.
The bell was given by the Hewetson family of Ravenstonedale.

The cache is medium sized click lid box. It is big enough for trackables and swappables.
There is a log book, pencil and lots of swappables.

Please avoid looking for the cache between 1.30pm and 3.30pm on a Sunday as there is a service held every Sunday between 2pm and 3pm. Thank you.

The cache is hidden in the car park. It has been placed here with kind permission of Sedbergh Methodist circuit. Thank you to them.
