Small Camoed container, holds log, pencil, small items and a FTF prize of ACGA 5th anniversary coin for Newfoundland (Congrats eveleye5 on the FTF, enjoy the coin). Off path, but not bad terrain to cross.
Queen's Battery on Signal hill:
Located down the slope from Cabot Tower, once housed a few families prior to area being named a national park. Somewhere around the area of the cache my Fiancee's grandmother had her first family home. This cache is dedicated to the memories she has shared with me about living in the area and growing up in St. John's during the world wars.
Signal Hill is full of history, great info posts telling the history of the area. You can spend days just wandering around and still not cover it all.
