What: Geocaching World Wide Flash Mob Event
When: 9:00am sharp Saturday June 9
Where: Anchorage Town Square just east of the Fountain! (downtown)
Why: Participate in World-Wide Flash Mob Geocaching Event IX -
held simultaneously all over the world!!!

8:45 - 8:59AM Cachers: Wait patiently in your automobile or stroll around the area.
STAY AWAY from ground zero! As much as you, can act like a muggle.
Hey - it's tourist season - if you're not a tourist already, dress like a tourist!
(You know - raincoat, camera, fanny pack... and very bright, clean white shoes...)
8:59AM make your way toward the event coordinates.
9:00AM exactly (as determined by your GPS clock) we will place an ammocan for log sheets near the coordinates. As you arrive, we'll hand you an official event "personal log sheet". Participants must sign the log sheets (which will later become the log book). To qualify for attendance, drop them in the designated bucket (near the coordinates).
No "personal log sheet"? Your name will be removed from the 'attended' logs!
9:05AM we will gather and take a group photo.
9:10AM we will draw a name from the pool of log sheets for the title of First to Find (which wins a Special Prize!) and draw for the door prizes.
9:15AM exactly the log sheets will be packed up and sealed away. The event area will be evacuated without a trace.
Feel free to plan an after-event activity or after-event breakfast -
just remember, we HAVE to leave the area promptly at 9:15AM!!!
