Geocache Description:

In the 1930's & 40's several gas stations were built in the area to accommodation the heavy traffic. Snell's Summit Station was one of these now by-gone relics. Interesting Article from the local paper. This geocache is part of the Historic Arizona Route 66 Centennial Geocaching Series, an Arizona Centennial Legacy Project (www.az66geocaching.com).
