ATTENTION: PLEASE READ THE NOTE BELOW BEFORE ATTEMPTING THIS CACHE !!!!

Geocaching will be restricted during the Youth Turkey Season (April 4 – April 10) and the regular Turkey season (April 11 – May 9). Geocaching will be prohibited during these times. Geocachers will still be able to use Holly Shelter Game Lands on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday as this particular game lands is a three day per week hunting area (Monday, Wednesday and Saturday).

At a past "Holiday Flash Mob at the Tea House" Team Yo Mama distributed a ready made cache to the attendees. I decided to place this cache on the Bling Shelter Power Run to honor those friends of mine who have made this great cache run in Southeastern North Carolina.

I add this description from the pages of other Bling Shelter Power Run caches:

"Welcome to the Bling Shelter Power Run
We decided that South Eastern NC needed a power trail! What better place to put one than this lovely game land. This Power Run has over 450 caches (with more to come), that are placed along the Holly Shelter game land roads. Most of the containers are small Tupper ware containers so you will need to bring your own pen. This is the wilderness so be on the lookout for animals, birds and hunters.
Hunters may be present during hunting season (Sept-Mar), and the roads can be a challenge when wet.

The gates are open from September 1 to April 1 (but do vary from time to time) but you can bike or hike the rest of the year…. You will want to enter at the gate near Topsail Baptist Church on Route 17 to start at #1 or either of the 2 entrances on Shaw highway. Most of the caches are hidden right off the main road or by landmarks, minimum bushwhacking is required."
