Geocache Description:

A couple of new caches on yet another route that leads to the Tom Snow Trail.
Parking is available at Sibbald Flats off the Powderface Trail Road. These caches are along a lovely cutline that is just one of many great trails in the area. As I have learned, cutline is just another way of saying moderately intense hiking!

I have spent a lot of hours hiking the trails in this area this winter, and have enjoyed getting to know the area much better. Spring is fast approaching, and the wildlife is becoming more active every day. There has been much discussion amongst the various cachers that have hiked alongside this winter about being prepared (for the weather, the wildlife, the back country, and for the unexpected). It has become a common theme of discussion and debate. Please keep in mind when hiking out in this beautiful country, that cache pilfering squirrels are not the only wildlife you may encounter!

Congratulations to van der Decken on first to find!

You are looking for a matchstick sized container. Please bring your own pencil as there is not one in the cache. Please use care when replacing the cache so that it is secured to deter the squirells.
