Farmers understand both "being green" and Ontario’s Feed-in Tariff (FIT) Program benefits that offset some of their farm operating expenses. These "structures" are springing up like weeds all over Ontario's rural areas. Some are fixed assemblies and others are "steerable"enabling a face-on exposure to the sun with improved power generating efficiency and the side benefit of shedding heavy snow through controlled tilting.
