Many a time I've sat at this location, taking a rest during a peaceful walk, and gazed at the Rocky Mountain panorama to the west: from Pikes Peak far to the south, to Mt. Blue Sky, to the Indian Peaks and Longs Peak to the north. This is an especially beautiful place at sunset: come set a spell.
