Geocache Description:

Easy find through gardens and forest.

This park, adjacent to a Christian retirement community is lovingly maintained by the city of Barrie's now 83 year old retired city gardner. Accessible year round with skating on the pond. Parking may be tricky but most stash their cars at the small roped entrance into this forest right on Hurst drive. ***This is a city park and one of Barrie's best kept secrets, visitors are welcome however it is off the beaten path. Ducks, fish and the occasional deer can be found. Near the creek you will find one of Barrie's largest cedar trees.
