Geocache Description:


This cache was placed in honour of our old dog Cooper. Cooper was a avid geocacher who always loved going with us and while he wasn't any better at finding the caches he enjoyed searching for them as much as we did. We have placed the cache along this trail because this was one of his favorite places to go run, play and wade. Cooper is gone now but we hope his memory will live on in this, our first cache.

If you have a dog which you geocache with please feel free to post a picture of him/her with your log entry as we would love to see some other Geo-Dogs. (Thanks to Tulach Ard and his Geo-Dog Sadie for this idea)

The cache is a small camoed lock and lock with a log book and a few small trade items. The area where the cache is hidden is subject to flooding in the spring and during times of extemely high rainfall. Please be careful during these times as the river can get quite high.
