The tower is consists of bands of flint rubble, limestone and chequer-work at the base. The 15th century porch is of chequered flint. There are carved spandrels the the outer doorway and a 14th century inner door. There are the remains of wall paintings which depict the Virgin, St Christopher, St Michael, a seated woman and Christ as man of sorrows. There is a 17th century brass to John Alleyne, and a monument to George Frewe. The roof is of plain red tile construction, but the nave is unusual, with a round arched to double collars, clasping the collar purlin. There is also a late 14th century south door.
