Jungle J had a cache in this cemetery that lasted close to 5 years, entitled "Restin' in Groveside-Brooklin." It was also one of the earliest cache finds for The 4 Taylors. After a couple of recent disappearances, he decided it was best to archive his, as it was a little outside of his preferred maintenance territory, and allow someone "more local to the area" take it over. I really took this task to heart and almost gave it the same cache name, albeit with the Roman numeral "II" at the end. But, I opted for a slightly different name.
Jungle J had a write-up that I think would be appropriate to continue for the new cache, and is as follows:
The "Restin" microcaches take you to some beautiful, quiet churches and cemeteries throughout the region. Please show the utmost respect for the environment and the neighbours near these caches. Night caching is likely a very bad idea.
Parking is always close to the site, and often just off the side of the road. All "Restin" caches are small (or very small) and you will require a pencil and very fine writing.
No clues necessary. Just look around carefully. Perhaps you might be looking for your great great uncle Edward who might be interred in this cemetery? Maybe. Remember that those sites adjacent to a church have busy periods - Sundays, weddings, etc.- and are best left alone at such times. They are also maintained frequently so discretion is advised, unless you are looking for your great great uncle of course.
If you open any gates to enter the site, please ensure they are closed behind you.
This cache itself is straightforward, be respectful to where you are, night-caching is not recommended. Please BYOP.
