The cache is located near the trail that formed an Eagle Scout project. It has since been converted into a disc golf course. You can walk in from the road leading to the park but it's much more pleasant to walk the whole trail. There is a convenient parking area nearby at the trailhead.
Pioneer Trail Park is one Delta County's parks. The name reflects the location along the missionary trail from St. Ignace to Green Bay. It is conveniently located near Escanaba and offers camping, fishing, play equipment, and a nature trail.
