Wrap up BBQ starts at 7:00pm Saturday Aug 18 at Lions Park in Redcliff. Parking coords are provided.

Lions park now has a brand new water park for the kids or even the adults. Something for everyone. Voting sheets will be left at every event so can grab one per cache name or cache team. If you don't have a voting sheet you can not vote for your favorite. So be sure to pick one up.

The categories for this years event are as follows

1. DIRT -- On a dirt/gravel road outside city limits. please be reasonable 15Km to 18 Km max
2. KIDS STUFF -- Made and hidden by kids under 16
3. UNIQUELY CREATIVE -- Most unique or creative
4. PLAIN AND SIMPLE -- In plain view
5. NIGHT VISION -- best found at night
6. Not to be voted on -- If you wish your cache on the list but not to be voted on then it will go here. Make sure to add CARMH3 at the end like the others.

Finding – You must pick up your voting sheets at the SAW3 Welcome to Medicine Hat event. You must not search out any caches until after 7:00pm, Friday Aug 17. You will have 24 hours to find as many caches as you like before the event wrap up and BBQ.

Voting – Prizes will be given for the best in each category so please bring your voting sheets with you to the CARMH3 event wrap up and barbecue. Redcliff Lions Park 3rd Ave and 6th st SE, Saturday evening Aug 18 at 7:00PM

Hiding –Make your hides as usual. Publishing them on line early will assure you of that spot. You can copy and paste this section into your description for your caches:
"This cache has been placed for the CARMH3 event. The cache should not be located prior to 7 p.m. Friday Aug 17th. The caches for the CARMH3 event are released early so that the geocaching community has an opportunity to plan their routes prior to the event start."
In the Note to reviewer section of the hiding a cache page. Please state that the cache is to be held until the CARMH3 event. When picking a name for your cache be sure to add CARMH3 at the end. Example would be (mycacheCARMH3) The deadline for you to get your caches on line and sent in would be Friday, Aug 10 by midnight.
You MUST also register your caches with King.Tut (Wayne){click the link} by emailing your cache info. I need your geocaching name, the name of the cache hidden, and the category you placed it in. If you do not email your cache info we can't place you on the sheet for voting, so Please email the info.

Poker Run
At the CARMH3 wrap-up at Redcliff Lions Park, we will hold a Poker Run. This is a fun event for everyone to do while waiting for ballots to be counted and the BBQ being prepared. The Poker Run will start about 6pm and run for about an hour. The first 80 cachers who wish to participate will pick up the coordinates for the 5 caches. They will then visit each cache and select one envelope containing a card. Players will try to collect a winning poker hand from the 5 cards they randomly select. THERE WILL BE PRIZES FOR THE THREE BEST POKER HANDS. Further rules and instructions (and there will be further rules!) will be provided at the Meet and greet and at the wrap-up itself.
