Geocache Description:

This cache is on a walk through the park and beyond a little. It is a very small plastic screw top container holding a log, pencil and could contain a few very small swag items.

This cache is located in: LONG TAN PARK "In honour of those 18 Australian Soldiers who gave their lives while serving their country during the battle of Long Tan, Phuoc Tuy Province, South Vietnam, 18 August, 1966". While here in this park on the day we set these caches, we saw a wedding across the road, three horses who were waiting to be patted by the fence, a bearded billy goat, and a couple of families picnicking and swimming. There is a swimming hole just a bit into the park with several ropes for swinging into the water, picnic tables, plenty of shade and lovely grassy areas. This cache may be hard to reach if there has been heavy rain and flooding, so just use caution and common sense and leave the cache for another day if the water is interfering with the cache location.
