Geocache Description:

The HMAS Whyalla was built at the Whyalla shipyard in 1941. It survived active duty in World War II and has been returned to Whyalla as the 'flagship' for Whyalla's Information Centre and Maritime Museum

Whyalla is one of 60 ships built in Australia during the second world war and was built as a minesweeper (also known as a corvette).

The cache is a standard traditional cache with no swaps.

There is no need to enter the Information Centre or the Museum in order to complete this cache.
