Lightning Strike Traditional Cache
Walsh-Warriors: After three logged dnf's, returned to check cache site and perform owner maintenance. Sadly extensive tree felling and clearance in the area has disturbed the general cache location so decided to disable cache and re-launch a new cache in the area in the near future.

Walk down the bridle path signed from the parking place. Look out for large dead tree on the right.
(When we first situated the cache this was a dramatic land mark, sadly recent forestry work means the tree has fallen, so its now more tricky to spot, but the cache is still in situ.)
Coordinates for parking are N 51 13.345 W 000 35.869 (tuck in by the hedge). The footpath is part of the North Downs Way. It you have the time you might continue along the path to the Watts Gallery at Compton (about 2miles) for a delicious cream tea before returning. Alternatively park at the Watts Gallery and do the walk in reverse.
