At each location(coordinates) you will be able to get one of the needed 10 coordinates. The coordinates shown are for the first stop (A). Follow the route of the coordinates you need, in other words find A, B , C etc. . The coordinates for the cache are N42.AB.CDE and W080.FG.HIJ

A. N42.07.517 W080.08.876 Find the number of letters in the former name of this building and subtract 8. This is not being used right now but management is looking into possble uses in the near future.

B. N42.07.607 W080.08.725 Whose landing is this? Take the number of letters and add 3. You can walk back this road. There used to be a marina there. The viewing platform is known as the Feather and was recently rebuilt after being destroyed by a tornado.

C. N42.08.741 W080.07.857 You must reduce your boat wake to a minimum when this close to shore. Subtract 499 from this number. The sign with the posted information is gone but you can still figure out the answer. This a well used boat ramp and access to the ice during the winter.

D. N42.09.204 W080.07.137 Check out the boats. In the winter they are stored on the parking lot. Lots of improvements were made here over the years including the docks , rest rooms, showers, and dock facilities. Face the gas dock and count how many piers there are to your right(east). Add 2 to this number.

E. N42.09.280 W80.05.429 You are now on Crystal Point where the Perry Monument is located. Over how many people lived in the village of Erie in 1812? Add 5 to the first digit of that population.

F. N42.09.640 W080.05.618 Every summer there are free 1 hour interpretive boat rides from this location which was built/completed in what month? Subtract 6 from this month.

G. N42.09.325 W080.04.337 This light marks the entrance to the channel from the lake. Be careful walking there in the winter! Subtract 24 from the number of black posts that are about 3 feet high.

H. N42.09.982 W080.05.029 What year was this road completed? Subtract this number from 1931. This area is called Thompson Circle.

I. N42.09.947 W080.06.835 You are now at the lighthouse. This is a photo opportunity and you might want to walk out on the beach and take photos facing the light from there. What year did this facility go into service? Add the numbers of the year together and subtract 19.

J. N42.09.077 W080.07.961 What year was Fisher Drive completed? Add the numbers of the year together and subtract 7.
