Old Balltown Rd. Bridge Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

emmit: Checked on this one yesterday, and it is gone once again. Someone is taking our fun, out of meanness or the want of a $2 key holder......

Maybe I'll try again one day. It had a pretty good run. Thanks to all who logged it !

Geocache Description:

It's a historical bridge , no longer in use but on display at a city park in Cole Camp, Mo. Take some time to visit this beautiful and historical town, that has more than 30 buildings on the National Historical Register.

This bridge was once used to cross a creek on a stagecoach route called the Butterfield Trail. It is now known as Old Balltown Road, or , Route F. The bridge was built in the 1880's, and used until 1993.

The cache is a magnetic hide-a-key, and should be an easy find.

The cache will be maintained by my brother and nephew , who live in the area.

** Permission for this hide granted by the Cole Camp Chief of Police. **
