This area at one time was going to be the Pacific Gailes Golf Course, but after much local protest, it is now the Sitka-Sedge Natural area. This is where we walk the dog...easy trails, great views, and generally uncrowded. I have 5 caches in the area; if you find them all it is about a 3.5 mile loop. Cache is a black 35mm film canister about 15 feet off the main trail. Minor bushwhacking is necessary to get into the opening. GPS Is jumpy.
