Reason #1 to visit the Ohlone Wilderness Trail
This is #1 in a series of caches I placed on the Ohlone Wilderness Trail. If you've never tried this trail, you are in for a treat. There are some amazing views along this trail.
For this cache, you will want to start from Del Valle Wilderness Park. The terrain rating reflects the substantial hike along this trail. It is definitely a challenging hike with long grades, and very substantial elevation changes.
Please note that the Ohlone Wilderness Trail requires that you purchase a permit/map for $2.00. You can purchase this at the entrance to Del Valle, or online.
