A short hike to a lost saw mill on the St Louis river
Welcome to the old saw mill. there are several old foundations along the road. You will have to look really hard to find them. And if you do please do not disturb them as others have done to the foundation that you will see out in the river at the end of the road. When I was a kid we used to fish here and the foundation in the river was whole and 4 ft high all the way around,until people started hauling it away one piece at a time. You can park at N46 39.242 , W 092 13.583 at what is called Boy Scout landing. Depending on the weather and the water level of the river will determine if you need boots or not. The cache is also able to be found by water since there is a suitable place to pull your boat in. Now winter friendly.
