A nice hike or ride on the Boy Scout multiple use Eagle Scout trail
This Cache is to Show you some of the work that the local Boy Scouts have done as public service projects to earn there Eagle Scout award.You can park at the Boy Scout landing N46 39.242 W092 13.583, highway 23 over look N46 39.244 W 092 13.861, or Perch Lake parking N46 39.471 W 092 15.146. All of these have trail accesses to the 2 trails, an upper and a lower trail. The upper trail was the old road way to Fon Du Lac and the lower trail was the old railroad grade to Fon Du Lac and on to Thomson. The final trail can be muddy at times so be warned. The cache will take you past the area that is used for fishing and some non-destructive camping. Please help keep it clean so it can be used for many more years My advice is go to the lower trails first and enjoy the walk along the river, and on the way out go to the upper trails and enjoy the quiet walk in the woods
