Ever heard that you can determine which direction is north by looking at the moss growing on the base of a tree?
It's true...kinda.
Moss plants grow in moist and shady places. The north side of a tree can provide this condition because it is usually not exposed to the sun. This is true in northern latitudes where the sun is to the south. If you were in the southern hemisphere, the moss would be on the south side of trees.
This cache is hidden on a tree that is a good example of moss growing on the north side. It is supposed to be in a specific location. Please note where you find it , and how it is hidden, so that you may return it to it's original spot.
Even though both ends open, an extraction tool would be helpful.
Congrats to David&Patty for the FTF.
