A quick roadside cache on the outside of Alberton's main cemetary.
I was inspired to do this cache because of the fact that my great great grandparents' tombstones were vandalised in Standerton. That is something that really got to me then and still does. I am very happy that our cemetary in Alberton is very well looked after and that there are security 24/7.
Please value our heritage and roots.
You do not need to enter to retrieve the cache. If, however you would like to do so, it opens at 08:00 until 18:00. They close at 17:00 in winter.
You can park safely a bit closer to the entrance gate where the pavement stops. Bring your own pen or pencil. A fairly busy street in peak hours, please use stealth.
