Another cache in my Overlooking... series. Cache is located in the John H. Chafee Preserve. It's an easy walk along the main trail to the beach (.70 by the crow from the car to the cache), however, as with all with all other caches in this series, unless you're really tall, you will need to climb something. This one is a micro, so bring a pen.
The Jamestown Verrazzano was completed in 1992. It stood alongside its predecessor, which remained in place until finally demolished in 2006. The new structure has had some structural concerns already in its 20 year lifespan: it was listed as structurally deficient in 2007 after cracks were found in some of the box girders. Those cracks were repaired in 2008.
