This is a 6 inch by 6 inch container.
This cache is a tribute to my good buddy, keck321 who introduced me to geocaching a year ago on April 6, 2011. Keck found a cache while muggling in the Wye Marsh. He came back to the office and told me about what he had found and we investigated this "geocaching.com" to see what it was all about. We were amazed at how many caches surrounded us, including one that was only about 500 feet from our office. (GCMPOV) At lunch we went over and found it without the aid of a GPS. We found several more over the next couple months, still without a GPS. Keck eventually bought one and Dancer Woman bought me mine in September. That was the start of a fun hobby that has taken us to so many interesting places.
So..what better way to pay TRIBUTE to my friend, than with a TRIBUTARY.
This cache is located on the Wabukayne Tributary. It flows into Mullet Creek in Streetsville, which in turn flows to the credit river by UTM.
Parking is a bit of a bugger.
When the Honda dealer next door to the trailhead is closed, you can park there.
Otherwise, you can park at N43 34.903 W79 44.235, but then you'll have to cross Erin Mills.
Alternately you can park right at the trail head at
N43 34.903 W79 44.235. You can access this from northbound Erin Mills only, but I'm not sure you're allowed to park there, even though you can pull well off the road.
