Greetings Earthling Geocachers
We have been observing your strange habits in this area of the Nevada desert for a couple of years now and would like to know more about what motivates you earthlings to exhibit such odd behavior while out here. We think you are looking for evidence of our existence as we observe you looking under lots of piles of rocks and opening tiny little canisters, perhaps looking for clues. Well, we decided we would like to get some answers once and for all. We are proposing a mini flash mob event so that we might interact with you for just a few minutes to see if we can ascertain answers to our questions.
WHEN: Friday June 8, 2012 9:40-10:00 PM
(that's 21:40 - 22:00 for you 24 hour clockers)
WHERE: N 37° 40.912 W 115° 48.820
Please note: the posted coordinates are at ET#360 (GC31V2E) and not too far from the UFO #49 (GC32Q5V). The plan is to have cars park OFF the highway at this locale then a very short walk into the desert for our "encounter". This location is about 4.3 miles north of Rachel along hwy 375.
We only have two requests of you –
- Since we cannot show ourselves during the light of day, we must conduct this event after dark so you need to bring a flashlight to this event. Although there should be moonlight that evening it would be best to have some form of a small beam to light your way to this mini flashmob. (Thus the name "flashlight mini mob"***)
- No photography please other than the photos WE will take of the entire group that assembles for this event. We cannot have photos of us on Facebook or Twitter or other such social media sites. Nor can we have you showing us off to your fellow earthlings who do NOT attend this event. Thank you for your understanding about this.
We look forward to "seeing" you at this brief gathering. Hopefully it will be mutually beneficial – we will get our answers and YOU will have your "proof" that we exist! We will give one of OUR signature items to each attendee (this will be your proof of our existence instead of photos) so please log your intent to attend in order that we may be prepared with enough.
*** The idea for a flashlight mob came from KodyDog00 from Rolling Meadows, IL. Thanks KodyDog for allowing us to use your brilliant idea!!!
