Welcome to the Perry Pole Puzzle. While hiking below this spot on an earlier cache foray, I noticed this pole standing alone on a ridge above me. I was puzzled what it was. Perhaps you can discover its background history.
On the pole you will see an engraved metal plate. Use the stamped information you find there to determine the final coordinates. The letters are small, so you may want to bring a magnifying glass if you have trouble reading small print.
