Cappella di San Maurizio o Sacrario degli alpini (1061 mls). La cappella, posta su un cocuzzolo da cui si domina tutto l’abitato di Limone Piemonte, merita una visita. Di antica origine, distrutta, poi ricostruita nel 1833, è stata recentemente dedicata al Sacrario degli Alpini, che ne curano la manutenzione. All’esterno è presente un pezzo di artiglieria da montagna, a ricordo simbolico di una postazione alpina. Si può parcheggiare alle coordinate N44° 12.558 E7° 34.308 e proseguire a piedi su comoda strada sterrata che si percorre in 15 minuti fino al ristorante alle coordinate N44° 12.783 E7° 34.114 , oppure salire in auto direttamente al ristorante. Il sentiero a sinistra del ristorante conduce direttamente al Sacrario.

Chapel of St. Maurice, or Sacrario degli Alpini (Alpine soldiers Sacrarium) (1061 mls). The chapel, situated on a hilltop, overlooking the entire village of Limone Piemonte, worth a visit. Of ancient origin, destroyed, then rebuilt in 1833, was recently dedicated to the Alpine soldiers, who maintain them. Outside there is a piece of mountain artillery, to commemorate the symbolic location of a mountain war. You can park at the coordinates N44 ° 12,558 ° 34,308 E7 and walk on an easy dirt road that runs in 15 minutes to the restaurant at the coordinates N44 ° 12,783 ° 34,114 E7, or go directly to the restaurant by car. To the left of the restaurant you find the path that leads directly to the Sacrarium.
