Geocache Description:

Coordinates are a big rock near the clue you will need to find the cache. Be sure to wear your hiking boots (or snowshoes, as the season dictates). This is a very beautiful area that follows the Skunk River through Story County and although it will take a little time, it will be time well spent.
This cache was placed with the approval and cooperation of the Story County Conservation Department.

When you spot the big rock, go ahead and have a seat on it. Take a little break and get ready to Take A Hike. You will cover a little over 2 miles by the time you are done. As you are sitting on the rock, notice the old fence, if you look about 8 paces to your left you will see the clue POSTed that you need.
The trails here are mostly dirt and grass so be prepared if it is wet. The last 80 yards or so you will have to bushwhack and there may be thorns, heavy brush, ticks, poison ivy, etc, etc.
This area is a favorite hunting area for many so please be respectful of that in the fall and winter months.
