Geocache Description:

This geocache is part of the Scouts BSA “Cache To Eagle” program which commemorates Eagle Scout service projects. You will see an impressive service project with a commemorative plaque very close to this geocache. CONGRATULATIONS to Ayerheads for FTF of original container (named "Tears of a Clown") 4/4/12.

Thanks to the Eagle Scout and Scout Troop 794 who built the bleachers which this geocache commemorates. Please use stealth when retrieving and replacing this one! It's located at a height that should be accessible to wheelchair users, although it will involve a little reaching. (This cache was relocated from its original location due to it being muggled too many times there.) Tweezers may help to extract the log. The cache is located in Cherry Knolls Park (off Easter and University), near the Streets at SouthGlenn shopping center. This is a nice park with biking trails and a stream, playground, soccer fields and ball fields. Cherry Knolls was incorporated in May 1960, which is why you see so many mature trees, larger yards, and a diversity of homes. Neighbors range from young families to original homeowners. Our parks, schools, and pool are tightly woven into neighborhood life. The babysitting co-op is the longest operating organization of its type in the Denver area. There are several other caches in the vicinity that can be accessed by a pleasant stroll along Big Dry Creek. The Streets at SouthGlenn just across University has tons of dining options. Happy hunting!
