First -The container is not an ammo can.
The cache is located in what was Fort Dearborn Scout Camp many years ago. I would love to provide some history of the camp but I am unable to locate any information on the internet about the camp.
The area where the cache is located in a flood plain of the Des Plaines river. It may be muddy or wet after a heavy rain hence the terrain rating.
Please replace as found or better. The closest legal parking is located iin the forest preserve located on Devon Avenue east of the river. There is a parking spot near the cache at the old entrance road to the camp but not sure it is legal to park there.
