This is one of the Earth Day Chilliwack event caches. Placed along Luckacuck Creek near the trail. The wildlife tree was topped and the bark cut (left to die) to become an attraction for various woodpecker species when the bugs move in. A 6" Camoed Lock n Lock.
A good example of stewardship of the planet. Encouraging wildlife rather than only removing habitat. There are other examples of these along the Rotary and Trans Canada Trail. Now get out there and Enjoy! While here go up this trail to find Green Tree and the Slow walk series caches. CITO
