this cache is the second generation of my hide near this location, duck duck goose. i have archived that listing due to the improvements i have made to the container to prevent it from being vandalized. ratings are changed from the previous and are done in accordance with geocache rating system.
if you found duck duck goose you know what to look for as a cache home. the difficulty lies in retrieval and signing the log. at this location you will be looking for a peanut butter jar camoed to blend with it's environment. it's off the path, yep,,,it's out there. you will need to devise some type of tool for the retrieval of the log container, it does not have a retrieval method like the first cache i placed here.
this cache will not be available in the winter due to safety concerns. please bring your own writing implement and try and return to it's location as best you can, to do that you need to get all of it ashore including the anchor. i'm really counting on you to do that to help prevent more vandalism.
as always please follow all rules of copley community park. no fishing or swimming allowed. a list of all rules is available at both parking lots. it's a great big sign, you can't miss it. park hours are 7:00 AM till dusk.
this cache is placed with permission from copley service department director Mark Mitchell
congratulations to SmoothCacher, for what was probably a well earned FTF ON 4-9-12
UPDATE: let's not forget, to log a cache found you need to sign it, not just find the container. this cache is very easy to see, but difficult to get a hold of. "found it" logs stating that they where unable to retrieve the cache will be deleted. after a courtesy e-mail asking for a change to write note or did not find and one week to do so
***update*** 4-8-13 when i originally placed this i wanted to use synthetic paper but couldn't find any. now i have, and if any cache needed it this is the one. i would suggest you bring along multiple writing implements as i know synthetic can be tricky
