A nice little drive-by on the A686 with ample parking close by.
There is a great panoramic view on a clear day of the Northern Pennines from here . Due East from here is Cross Fell which is the highest point on the Pennines at 2930ft (893 m).
The cache contains a log book and pencil along with several swaps. There is gold for the FTF?
Please note - the cache is NOT in or on a wall.
This road can get very busy at times with fast moving vehicles so please be aware with children and pets.
Please use stealth here as the area can get very busy at times.
Please replace the cache EXACTLY as you find it so as not to be obvious.
