Geocache Description:

Should be a quick park n grab. BYOP, container isn't large enough for a standard size writing utensil. Cache does not require any bushwacking.

I grew up near by here, and driving down this road once with my mother, we saw a huge snapping turtle being tended to by an animal control officer. We pulled over and I was allowed to look at it from a safe distance. He was on his back and unhappy about it. (Maybe he rolled down the hill?) The snapping turtle's head was the size of my fist and the body was much bigger than my own head. Not sure what became of Mr. Snapper, but I thought he deserved a cache in his honor.
