California State Route 16 is a road with many names and a few caches.

At this location you must park on the west side, i.e, the narrow side, of the road. In the past you could park on the east side most of the day. Now there it is a no parking zone any time zone. The question becomes, "Why all the paving and paint if you don't want folks to park here?"
