To get the final co-ordinates: Use the Christian name (except for #7) of each person in the groups below as clues to find the single missing name from each group. Using A = 1... turn the missing names into a column of numbers. Total the numbers to give X. Total the left hand values to give Y. Total the right hand values to give U. South = -3889668 / Y / X and East = 10065481 / U / X. John, for example would result in 47. This yields 47 for X, 4 for Y and 7 for U. You would of course need to add in the other names. Name 12: use the 5 character long version of his name.
Feel free to collaborate as a team on working out the answers but once you've got the final co-ordinates it would be bad caching karma to give the game away...considerable work went into making this work.
