This is a short series of caches for travellers going into Cornwall after crossing the Tamar on the Torpoint Ferry. They are all relatively short cache-and-dashes aimed at relieving the journey. As this is likely to be useful to holiday makers, we have named the series after the local term "grockles".
A very quick cache-and-dash on the edge of a layby on the A374, a road popular with motorbikers, who call it the Torpoint Twisties. The tidal creek that you can see on the other side of the road is a branch off the Lynher estuary.
Cache is a 500ml plastic container. GPS signal may be poor in summer because of tree cover, so keep your eyes open!
Initial cache location suffered from drowning in a puddle after rain. Now moved out of the puddle, so please replace exactly where you found it.
