A small container with a log book - a roadside cache, under some rocks
According to the CIA Yearbook, S 29 00 00 and E 24 00 00 is the geographical centre of South Africa.
This cache is placed approximately 2,4 km north of that point (the crossing point itself is on private land). This point is about 26 km from the Dutch Reformed Church in Douglas and 42 km from the confluence of the Orange and Vaal Rivers.
