How Geocaching Works

Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer.

Geocache Description:

The cache is located at the given coordinates, however you must complete the challenge to log the cache as a find.

The Challenge
In order to log this cache as a find, you must first find and log a non-traditional cache that begins with each of the 36 alphanumeric characters. The characters are A through Z and 0 through 9. Only the first character of the cache name counts, examples are as follows;
• The Zebra Cache – counts for the letter T
• “Zebra” Cache – does not count, as “ is the first character
• $10 Cache – does not count, as $ is the first character
• 10 Dollar Cache – counts for the number 1

The Documentation
To document your progress and your completion of the challenge, you can create a bookmark that includes each of the qualifying caches, along with this cache, or list your qualifying caches in your log. Make the bookmark list public, so that it appears on this cache page. Found logs without documentation will regrettably have to be deleted.
Note: An easy way to check your progress is with the use of the GSAK caching program. Download a pocket query of your found caches (in the My Finds section of the My Pocket Queries page). Using GSAK, open a database of your found caches. You can then click on the Waypoint Name column and the caches will be sorted alphanumerically.

The Rules
This one is meant to be for the fun of it, so I’m not making a whole lot of rules. But, there are a few;
• You may not count any cache that you have hidden or have ever owned.
• There is no time frame for the cache finds, so if you like, all of your current finds count toward completing the challenge. This means that you may already have the challenge completed without even trying. But, you can always impose your own start date and start from scratch. I will leave that up to you, do whatever makes you happy. Remember that this is for the fun of it.
• No traditionals, events or CITOs; everything else is fair game.

The Geocache Notification Form has been submitted to Dana White Quam, District Park Specialist of the Wisconsin DNR. Geocaches placed on Wisconsin Department of Natural Resource managed lands require permission by means of a notification form.
